Maricopa County's Employed Worker Training Program is a job-specific reimbursable contract program that supports the delivery of customized training that meets the specific training needs of an employer or group of employers. The program is designed to create new jobs and assist with increasing the skill and wage levels of employees within Maricopa County.

To determine an employer's training grant amount, a number of factors are considered, such as the employer size, benefits package provided to the employees, the number of employees that require training, and the impact of training on the individual employees and employer.

All applications are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis, and grants are awarded based on the availability of funds at the time of application.
