MWC Full Board

The MWC Workforce Investment Board: (1) oversees the completion of a customer driven one-stop workforce delivery system in Maricopa County: (2) directs the implementation of comprehensive strategies for services to youth with special emphasis on the linkage between business and education; (3) assists in the development and implementation of the Board's strategic plan; (4) promotes business involvement in the workforce system and assists businesses in meeting their hiring needs; and (5) coordinates workforce activities with economic development and educational activities in Maricopa County communities.

A.R.S.     38-431.01. Meetings shall be open to the public:  The minutes or a recording shall be open to public inspection three working days after the meeting except as otherwise specifically provided by this article.  All or any part of a public meeting of a public body may be recorded by any person in attendance by means of a tape recorder or camera or any other means of sonic reproduction, provided that there is no active interference with the conduct of the meeting.

A sign language interpreter, alternative format materials, or infrared assistive listening devices will be made available with 72 hours notice.  Additional reasonable accommodations will be made available to the extent possible within the time frame of the request.
