Abengoa Solar :: Solar Power for a Sustainable World Partners with MWC

Maricopa Workforce Connections (MWC) is the bridge to employment with Abengoa Solar, Inc. for its Solana Generating Station Project.

In an effort to make career opportunities available to as many qualified local individuals as possible MWC has partnered with other local workforce entities: Phoenix Workforce Connection and Pinal and Gila County Comprehensive One-Stop Career Centers.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the team working on the Solana Generating Project; follow the steps outlined below.

Step 1 – Contact the workforce group nearest you for assistance preparing a competitive resume for the opportunity matching your skills and abilities. In addition the workforce partners offer other job search tools and techniques to aid in securing employment. Those 18-21 (WEST MEC target youth) years of age should contact West MEC. Workforce groups and West MEC contact information are listed in the menu box to the right.

Step 2 – Post your targeted resume on the State's job board, www.arizonavirtualonestop.com (VOS) for consideration by Abengoa's hiring agents. Additional information and instructions on accessing VOS may be found in the menu box on the right.

Step 3 – Attend an informational session to learn more about the breadth of the Solana project and Abengoa's hiring needs. ONCE DETERMINED, DATES AND LOCATIONS OF INFORMATIONAL EVENTS WILL BE POSTED HERE.
